Read Me First
Before you start installation please do the following:
- You will need IIS and DotNet 3.5 for the demo web app to work.
- You will need to unzip the attached file inside RMWIN folder.
- Assuming that you have IIS and DotNet installed, copy the contents of "Sample
Web App" directory under C:\inetpub\wwwroot\cmscd and from IIS manager, add it
as a web site with the same name. under RMWin directory, run cmscd 1 /design
and under "URL Navigation" tab, set the URL to:
http://localhost/cmscd/cmscd.aspx?ItemName=<ItemDescription>& ItemPrice=<UnitPriceFormatted>&TransType=<TransactionType>
- Now the trick is, if all goes well (we can remote login and set it up for you if
you want), to create images for the items you have on your menu like the images
under C:\inetpub\wwwroot\cmscd\images and text files
containing the description for these items like the examples under C:\inetpub\wwwroot\cmscd\desc.
All your adverts go under C:\inetpub\wwwroot\cmscd\banners
and can be modified by "text" editing the file C:\inetpub\wwwroot\cmscd\adverts.xml
